( I HATE WEB MESSENGERS! ... *grumble*)
The wild birds of Endor chirped and squawked in the pre-dawn light. There was the faint orange glow of light on the horizon. There was a boy, young, perhaps 15 or 16, standing outside alone in the chilly pre-dawn air. He wore a pair of old, faded, and worn Jedi Robes. His long black hair was pulled back into a high ponytail and braided, tucked up under itself in a loop to keep it out of the way and up off his neck. He was away from the encampments, excercising in the pre-dawn light out in a clearing designated for individual training. There was only a couple of training remotes circling around him. -c-
The gentle hum of his lightsaber could be heard. It was a different pitch color of green than his training saber... A different saber altogether. He was training with this new saber. Unbelievably, this saber felt more like a more natural extension of himself-- as he was told a lgihtsaber should be-- than his training saber -ever- had... Master Cato had told him he was ready to build his own saber... But Jeryndi, himself, did not think he was ready... -e-

The morning air rippled and distorted as something moved thorugh it, like clear glass moving through water. It moved slowly, giving no sound, and no presence within the Force. No thoughts eminated from the shape as it moved either, lest the very act of thinking give it away. By being so mentally and spiritually silent, it allowed this one to pick up the thoughts and flow of things around her, allowing at need for her to redirect them with a subtle nudge, away from her. Within a minute she was at the edge of the clearing. Slowly, she let her mild concentration fade, allowing her fur to turn back to its usual golden brown, the robes a match. She slipped past a giant fern, watching Jeryndi with her keen green eyes. One hand idly held an Adegan gemstone between thumb and forefinger, and was slowly working it over.

Jeryndi felt her presence as she approached... but did not turn to greet her. His attention was focused on the training remotes. He watched them with a weary gaze as they circled around him, waiting for the right moment to shoot their laser bolts at him. The hissing of their movements were familiar. It felt good to be training again. To be -awake- and alert. He allowed the Force to guide his movements. He had intentionally chosen only two remotes because he knew that he would be forced to work up his strength and stamina again.
The Force flowed through him... and he was easily able to reflect the blaster bolts back to the remotes. Too easy, he thought... He deactivated his saber, holding the hilt loosely in his hand. He turned to look at Lepri, giving her a curious smile.
"I see you over there, stop hiding."

"Hiding, I am not," she said softly with a smile. It was only a ghost of one, and it faded almost as quickly as it came. Slowly she stepped out into the quite dim pre-dawn light, slipping the saber crystal into the pouch at her hip. She'd spent the last ten or twelve hours wandering the forest, hoping to get her mind of of Jery's condition. To find him out running around this morning, practicing with his saber brought some relief, and a spark of joy, but she couldn't help feeling that it wasn't enough. Something was still not right, somewhere. He was out of danger, yes, but that wasnt the problem at this point.
She came closer, her ears laid back slightly, in aprehension. "You alright, Jery?"

Jeryndi smiled as she approached, clipping his saber back to his belt. He nodded. He could feel her flood of emotions through the Force, but the apprehension and worry for him was still there. He lifted his hand to his mouth, coughing softly. He quickly brushed his fingers across his pale lips and wiped his hand on his dark pants in one fluid motion. He reached up with his other hand, patting her on the head, smoothing over her furry ears.
"I'm not okay, but I will be... You don't need to worry."

She tilted her head slightly, the soft smile returning. "I dont know what all I've missed, but I'm glad to have you back," she said softly. She wanted to throw her arms around him and not let go, but she would not. It was, first of all, up to him... and at the moment, Endor was filling up with Jedi, and it wouldn't be a good idea.
"I see you made yourself a saber. ... Kabe has said its time for me to make mine too. Why didn't you use your crystals from Elom?"

Jeryndi looked down at the saber on his belt. He shook his head solemnly. "Its not mine... Well, it is now... It was given to me. By Jeryndi Paqari... This was his saber." He patted it gently, then smiled. It dissipated just as quickly as it came, however, when he started to cough again. He covered his mouth once more, but tiny droplets of red speckled his lips and the palm of his hand when he brought it away. He flicked his tongue out over his lips, then smiled again.
"Master Cato has requested I start the process to make my own saber... I was going to ask you if I could have another crystal... Besides this one." He pulls the necklace out from underneath his shirt. The first-- and only-- crystal that he'd taken from the entire harvest he'd had coverted into a pendant on a chain, which had his mother's rings on it.

She smiled, her concern had faded some, despite the blood she spotted on his lips. He seemed to be alright, mostly... just needed time for his body to heal. Healing was not something she was skilled in, unlike Kabe. So far, his focus had been on making her able to face the challenges of life as a Jedi... being able to know Light from Dark, and see things with different eyes. He'd worked on her battle skills, and some technical skills. She knew, when she had a chance, she was going to have to ask him to teach her how to start using the Force to heal.
As he asked for another crystal she smiled. "How many do you want," she asked softly, then slowly sat, resting in the clearing.

Jeryndi smiled. "Two... I could probably use a backup. It never hurts to be prepared..." he says softly, crossing his arms over his chest. He gestures for her to come with him. "I was just going to go for a morning run... You want to come with me?" he asks, arching a brow at her. It would give them a logical reason to step away from the ships and the Jedi encampments... Give them a few moments of definite privacy.
He started to walk towards the edge of the clearing, looking back to see if she would follow. It had taken him quite a while to find his Balance in the Force again... Seeing Murra, talking to her at length, had helped bring that Balance back into play... Seeing Leiyn had brought the Balance full circle. He was up and at 'em, ready to go, but taking things at an easy pace... He knew better than to just jump in head first.
