We lost our Princess today. I know that all of you reading this have as deep a love for Star Wars as I do. Carrie Fisher, through Leia, has been teaching young girls for forty years that even a princess can be strong of will, fend for themselves, and not be afraid to shoot a few Stormtroopers. She will always be my Princess.
Today Carrie, amid the re-awakened Star Wars hype, passes on into legend and becomes one with the Force.

... is in another castle.
What an interesting life hers turned out to be. Not easy, but well-lived.

Carrie taught us that it's okay to not be perfect. In fact, it's awesome to not be perfect. This hurts. Not just as a fan, but as somebody who idolized a woman beyond being a fictional princess.
