Theme Songs!
We all know that music makes RP better, most everyone I know listens to it while they write... what song do you think of that just reminds you of your character(s)? Embed a video punks! Or at least a link and maybe a little reason why... or what song makes you think of another SWRP Character and why?
For instance when I hear this song....
I think of Sadhric Tlin;

This is for Xai. It's about the thrill of the chase and the fight, but can also be sexual in nature depending on how you take it, like most music. When this came out last year, even while I wasn't actively RPing, I heard this and went, "Yep, this is a Buffton song."
This one came up in my brain for recent Vidya and Jonas RP, but I think it was originally Cecily and Ayden from back in the day, they had a rough start. 10 years ago. Fuck.
This was Mauria before I let her go through the Rift so I didn't have to play that creepy bitch anymore:
Self-Explanatory. Remember Epiphany was my first EOTF character back in 1999 when she was 19 and infatuated with a bounty hunter. So yeah, Staind. WHAT?
I need to think more on actually stuff for Cecily and Vidya.

I tend not to listen to music while I rp. With the noise of kids, and sometimes video games in the background music becomes too much of a burden, and a distraction. However, I do listen to a lot of music during my commute to work and have found myself writing scenes while away from any thing that could ever be helpful to getting them to the boards.
Its pretty hard to come up with just -one- song to define a complex character, I think, which is why Sol gets two.
Ja'eeth, and Lotus Gi to come.
Solomon Tekal: I think the lyrics for the first song, Forsaken by VNV Nation, can pretty much explain what Sol is going through, and has been going through. He feels pretty lost within his own skin, his own mind.
And Gets Me Through because he doesn't like to be alone, even with his self-imposed isolation from his family, Solomon grasps at any and all ideas that could potentially fill the void of them being in his life. He is afraid to lose them, and so he keeps his distance but its painful for him to do so.
Darien Tekal: Darien has a lot of energy. A LOT of energy that rarely gets seen in play because of my focus on Solomon. Where Sol sees himself as lost, Darien knows who he is. Where he wants to be, and how he wants to get there. Darien, though, is far more paranoid than his brother, and far more driven to do what it takes to get the job done. This song, I imagine, could also work for Ith'li Shaon.
Jaysten Tekal: A little bit of hope can go a long way. Jaysten is just discovering who he can be as a person. He's got potential to grow up far less confused and far brighter in mind than his Uncles.
Kabel Tekal: The Show Must Go On. This song reminds me of Kabel due to her relationship to Murra. In her early days, Kabel was so unsure of who she was. It was too easy to fall into the trap of wanting to be like the person she looked like. She quickly discovered her own way around the galaxy, and has been doing her own thing since. She came to own herself, and her actions, pretty swiftly.
The Tekals, as a family: And this one. There's just something about it that screams Tekal to me. I'm not even sure why, but I think it fits.

This thread further proves my theory that Ronan Harris is an extension of God, and that he has written a song for everybody.

Ooh soundtrack stuff!!! I'm constantly listening to music, and I have certain artists and songs that tend to inspire stuff for certain characters for sure.
Crack the Skye the album generally gets me in a mandalorian mindset, as does its predecessor Leviathan. This song sticks in my head as Ker'dan's theme:
Malachi really seems to jump when I play shit like this: Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Piss & Vinegar:
A recent scene with Kabel had this running through my head.. Tom Waits, Bad as Me:
More to come I'm sure.. Lol

You'll never hear me complain about Warren Zevon. Here's an alternate for Xai: Marcus and Xai, since they were obsessed with one another.

OH well, I don't play a certain song for a certain character, I play music for moods I need for a post.
Lets see. For Sheridan I would have to go with her slogan:
OR when she was in love with Ith'Li:
for Arabi... She is still new for me, but maybe:
