-The Character's Name
Varias Phlox (Google didn't autocorrect Phlox, and upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/12/Phlox_paniculata_flower.jpg apparently that is why. Dammit.)
-Species
Near Human (Arkanian offshoot) "Fullblooded" Arkanians are primarily noted for their ability to see into the infrared, extreme intelligence, white hair, eyes with no pupils, four-fingered hands, and their races' predilection with biomechanical implants and grafts, skill with medicine, anatomy, and technology, and the (sometimes unwilling) study and suppression of other species.
-Occupation (this also includes Skills and Force Sensitivity, if applicable)
Multiple collegiate majors with degrees in none of them; minor "independent study" degree from an Arkanian school just because he'd had so many credits. Has held many jobs, but never held one for too long. He has skills in the normal occupations of his race, but is a master of none. Searching for the Jedi. Force Sensitive, no real ability.
-Weapons
None
-Technology
Umm...As he is not a "full-blooded" Arkanian (Arkanians are just semi-evolved near-humans from Arkania) his pupils are just barely visible, sees slightly into the infrared spectrum, and seems to have none of the focus of the rest of his race. No technology owned.
-And a Brief History
Varias Phlox was born to a semi-wealthy family of business-class Arkanians. His family owns contracts of several workers and has pretty much bought servants using contract slavery. His parents work in a major techno-biological enhancement company, much more successful than that of Varias' recent employer, the bought-out MediBio. After growing up as what he suspects to be a bastard child of some human, his father has hated him for his entire life and has treated him poorly. He always seemed to have a kinder heart than his family, and a less-focused and 'ruthless' mentality. This kept him back from succeeding at college, and after an uneventful childhood, failed several classes and constantly changed majors while there. His father cut him off from payment for school, so he was forced to get a job, and another, and another after being fired so many times.
He always seemed to have a knack for keeping out of trouble and knowing when others were. Many times a servant would be about to make an error that would get them punished when Varias would alert them or stop them from making such a mistake in advance. One of the servants mentioned meeting Jedi before, and that Jedi had such types of foresight. With some of his saved earnings, between one job and the most recent with MediBio, Varias took his starship on a money-draining quest to find Jedi, but with their seclusion and relative rarity, settled on traveling to the planet Kel-Dor and visiting one of the local temples. He was told that he was sensitive to the Force, and running out of money and wanting to find a Jedi for any type of training or learning instead of another sect, returned home to find a job. Now, after losing this job and all financial support from his possibly not-father, he has used almost all of his money to get offworld and search for the Jedi to see what his future might hold; if learning more about the Force might be his calling and his reason for never settling on one thing.
