History:
Djinna was a misfit from the start. She was born from a maverick Jedi, and a mercenary with a taste for bounty-hunting. She grew up, learning and living the family business, until a dispute between her parents caused a brawl that left her mother dead. She had picked up a thing or two from her mother, including an expert skill with grenades. She spent the rest of her youth with her father, who, learning of her sensitivity to the Force, began training her. He had hidden from the Jedi, and his other, darker pursuers for years. He foresaw his own death, and sped her training in certain areas, so as to prepare her. He taught her to hide her presence in the Force, and as much of his fighting techniques as he could. But it came too late, and they found them. Assassins in black came for her and her father, and he ordered their unusual droid, AZ-458, to take her somewhere safe, where she would be hidden. He managed to hold off their attackers until they could burn sky and see lines.
Djinna discovered several gifts from her father on the journey to meet with the Law of the Line, a cruiser with a strictly Ssi-Ruuk crew. Djinna's father had sacrificed everything for her, including one of his two prized lightsabers, which had been stowed on the ship, to be relinquished to her by AZ-458. She had trained with the very same lightsaber countless times, and her familiarity with it was great. A series of holograms were also entrusted to AZ, which were to be distributed sparingly to her as she grew, with further lessons of the Force, and of life. The final of these described a vision of her father's, in his own words. She would have to endure great hardship along her path. She would be influenced by both the light, and the dark. She would undergo tragedy, loss, and pain on her way to discovering herself. Her eventual destiny would have to be her own choice, and her scars would allow her to know the truth.
In her teenage years, she lived comfortably working with the Ssi-Ruuk, working with the yellow and green-scaled aliens, developing droids and weaponry. She never did have much of a knack for the work, but her finesse, physically and with her telekinesis, made her incredibly useful in delicate wiring and the like. She eventually, after using her childish charm, along with her ill-developed Force persuasion, got the Ssi-Ruuk to allow her to go on jobs. The red-scaled Ssi-Ruuk came to respect her prowess in battle, for being so small, and squishy. Along with her lightsaber, she earned a few pieces of armor, and a weapon, working for the Ssi-Ruuk. They were not well-liked, and it was hard to find work. Working as someone of a contact with the Ssi-Ruuk to their employers. This is her job now, and she works hard to find well-paying opportunities, as well as any chance to strengthen her connection to the Force, and hone her abilities with it.
