Brief History:
Azurith was born on Corellia to loving parents. His family at the time consisted of his mother, his father and an older sister who was three years old at his time of birth. The family lived in an outpost, about 6,000 meters east of Coronet, called Inthrop. It was a nice little town of about six-hundred people of various species. Everyone knew everyone else in the town so friendships were strong and gossip traveled fast.
Azurith grew up in his early childhood with nearly everything he could ever want or need. He had a strange fascination with soldiers ever since he had seen a few on patrol that wandered into the little township. He ran up to them and gazed with awe at the sparkle of their armor and the deadly look of their blaster rifles. He had chosen, then and there, to become a soldier when he grew up.
Shortly after his tenth birthday, Inthrop was attacked by a group of Raiders which were once known as the Raider-Verborir. The town was utterly massacred; the dead lay about either burning or smoldering from the multitude of blaster bolts which had impacted on their bodies. Azurith was told to hide but refused to leave his sister, Syna alone in a small grove of trees near the center of the town square. Armed with nothing but a blaster pistol that was just about as big as his head, Azurith guarded his sister. Any raider trying to get near them was shot instantly by the scared and shaking youth. What he hadn’t realized was that the blaster was set to stun so after a while the raiders got back up and captured the two kids. As the raiders were about kill Azurith and his sister, someone yelled for them to stop. When everyone turned to see who it was, it was their one of their officers, who looked strangely familiar to Azurith; he finally realized that the officer had been one of the soldiers that had patrolled into Intrhop in earlier years. The man had defected to the raiders and became one of the top officers.
The raiders took Azurith and his sister in as their own. The officer, which the two youth had learned was named Dyran, took Azurith as a sort of son. Dyran taught Azurith everything he knew over a few years. At age sixteen, Azurith was pulling guard duty for the raider’s ships. For a year he never saw any real combat, just beating the shit out of random drunks that tried to get in the starships. That was until one night, another group of raiders attacked the camp. Dyran ran to Azurith and told him to get in a ship and take off and to never come back. Azurith did so and has been wandering for the past year. He is finally ready to start searching for his lost sister and create a name for himself in the galaxy.
