The *tick-tick* of the chrono on the wall had called her attention, pulling her out of the nightmare of sleep. Something was stirring, pulling strongly at her attention. How long had the daughter of Tekal been asleep? How long did she have yet to live? Ureala dare not look at the chrono that seemed to call her name. To do so would have been to bring about another sharp realization. That, she did not want to face just yet.
They still had work to do; Master Kabraka was still setting up his plans. CorSec had been alerted to his arrival, and things had been set in motion. But would they be enough? Would all their efforts be enough to bait, capture and subdue the man who was weeding her bloodline out of the populace?
The young woman forced herself to think about those possibilities, distracting her mind from her loss as it still waged deep within her. He'd taken so much from them, and he was still looking to take more. She needed the grounding thoughts of the task to get things straight within her mind. The Dark Side came with emotions, with the lingering thoughts of pain and hate. Ureala was not raised to put credence in such things.
"Be aware of your emotions, but not controlled by them." Murra had told her, "It is alright to feel, to hate and to love. It is when you allow those emotions to control you, that you will fall, and you will fail."
Her mother, like her brother and her son, had returned to the Force.
Ureala sighed, dropping her head back against her pillow, shutting her eyes and reaching out to the Force. For as much as she wanted, there was nothing of the older Tekal to grab onto. Ureala could feel Solomon as plain as day, sitting in his CorSec cell. The young man was agitated, angry and deep down she could feel his fears. But, there was nothing else. They were the last two left and the hours were counting down.
