Name: Amy

Character's Name: Yuya Ardelis
Species: Miraluka, presumably 37 years of age
Occupation: Jedi Knight, animal lover
Weapons: Lightsaber
Technology: Data pad, outdated and very neglected, often forgotten if laid down anywhere
Brief history:
When just 4 years old Yuya was left alone in a small, quiet cave. Memory wouldn't recall much more than her mother's reluctant hug, her lasting warmth, and most importantly her bright image. Several days later a wandering nun from a local convent found her, right where she had been left, crying for help.
The nuns adopted her, giving her the name of their patron saint of lost children, Yuya. Surely she was delivered unto them for a purpose. In the years following Yuya was given the warmth and love one might expect from elderly women sequestered away from all the world, tho in all their hearts she read an underlying apprehension of her.
It was her eyes, she heard it in their thoughts. The milky white consistency evoked an uneasiness to even the most understanding sister. It wasn't long before she was made to wear a blindfold; after all, she could not see. She swore that she knew her mother's face, her frame. The gentle upward curve of her smile. The sisters did not doubt this, but found a pity for the girl's delusions.
These were the years of her life that best laid the foundation of her character. Why could she no longer physically see her surroundings? What visions plagued her daily, visions of war and agony, through out what she only assumed was a vast expanse of worlds? Her only answers were found thru the scriptures and advice of the most elderly of the convent. These ailments in her life were tests, given unto her by the true Lord of All. Prayer and meditation alleviated her burning questions, her communion with her god gave her a greater purpose in the scheme of things.
"Something great is going to occur," these were her words one morning, stricken suddenly by an overwhelming presence moving towards her. It was true, for in the hour a stranger appeared at the door. She saw it. White strings of light surrounding the ample frame of a cloaked woman. Tk'har Morvari, a Jedi Master, a wanderer. Near to tears Yuya came to face the woman, reaching out a fragile hand as tho it was but a vision.
So began the training of Yuya Ardelis, devout young woman eager for the light she saw once again thru the Force. She remained with her master for nigh on 20 years before a terrible pass came to be and she was left alone, once more an orphan. She wanders now, seeking out those who are on a righteous path.
