I was just searching through the threads here in character submission, and I realized I never submitted forms for Murra's children. I don't think I did one for Lotus, either, but I believe that was because I was granted permission to play her via im with a mod (probably Mike, but I can't remember)So, we will start with Ureala.
Name: Ureala Tekal
Age: late thirties.
Height: 5'5"
Hair: Shoulder length, black.
Eyes: smokey gray.
Occupation: Jedi Knight
Weapon: Violet bladed lightsaber
Special atrributes: She had little physical markings that can be noted by any observer aside from the features that would plainly mark her as a Tekal. Being one of Murra's children, she carries certain attributes, such as the hair and eyes, that would give away her heratige in a heartbeat to any who had known her mother. Aside from this, she has a prosthetic arm (will get further into that in the history section.
Physical build: Athletic
Tech skills: none.
Misc. factoids: Again, being the daughter of Murra Tekal, she inherited the ability to heal through the Force. She is far more advanced then her brothers, but comes nowhere close to what Murra had accomplished in her life. Also, if applied, Ureala can achieve Force speed and agility, but again, no where close to the capabilities of her mother.
History:
Born to Murra Tekal and Ivan Du'Bonte, Ureala was placed in the Order at an early age. Her mother had left her on Drall, safely located in a Jedi enclave that had been established there. Ivan, her father, had dissapeared some time before that, leaving Murra to raise Ureala on her own. However, due to the growing danger in Murra's life, she was left with little to no choice. Ureala could not be raised by her mother, Murra's presence was just too threatening for the child to be around.
With reluctance, Murra handed her only daughter over to the Jedi and fled Drall. She went outward seeking information on the Jedi within the galaxy. Ureala was still a child at that time, and far too young to remember the harsh events that had come before Murra's departure.
While on Drall, Ureala began the basics of the Force. She learned simple things, and gradually worked her way up under the tutilage of the Jedi there. Through the years, though, Murra's itchy feet would prove to be genetic. Ureala became restless at the enclave. Something was pulling her out into the galaxy.
When she left Drall, Ureala begain to wander. Her roaming brought her news of her mother's adventures. Certain people here and there could tell stories, mistaking Ureala for her mother at times, about battles waged one on one. She against other's seemingly of the same ilk. In reality, Ureala was walking into an trap.
The things that were pulling her to explore, would be the same things that would get her under the watchful eye of Dark Jedi. Just as with her mother, Ureala seemed to attract attention. She met a man, a Faleen by the name of Serix. Bewitched by his ability to release pheromones, and unknowing of such an ability, Ureala became his captive.
Serix used Ureala to get to Murra. The insane Faleen wished to have Murra under his control, to turn her to the Dark Side. For all his efforts, Murra refused, working to find a way to release her daughter from captivity. One day, though, a package was delivered to Murra. Within the package lay a human arm. Serix, growing tired of the game, cut off Ureala's left arm and sent it to Murra as a taunt; knowing well that Murra would not be able to resist the knowledge that he had hurt her off-spring Serix waited on Corellia.
When Murra arrived, Ureala was nowhere to be seen. Serix had locked her away within his ship in an unconcious state. Murra submitted, with Ith'li as witness to the occassion, for the sake of her daughter's life. Ureala was recovered, however, she was not made aware of the sacrifice that Murra had commited to save her daughter's life. Ureala would never know just what had happened that day.
When the sedatives wore off, Ureala found herself in the company of Ith'li Shaon. With his assurances that Murra would be alright, Ureala returned to the galaxy where she met a "tall dark and handsome man" (I appologize for the cliche).
Months passed, Ith'li secured Murra's freedom. She was free to return to the galaxy once more. During that time, though, Ureala was caught up in something deep. The man she had met was not the person she had thought him to be. He used her, as well, to get to Murra. This man brought the knowledge that Ureala was carrying Murra's grandson, his child, and should Murra not obey his commands the child and her own daughter would be killed.
Again, Murra complied. All this happening in secrecy so as to protect Ureala in her delicate state. The child's life was secured, as was Ureala's. Once more, Ith'li came to Murra's rescue. She was freed from this man's grasp, and in the end destroyed him completely. This, however, left Murra in a terrible state.
She had fallen to the Dark Side. Knowledge of this reached Ureala, and fearing for her child's life, the young woman went into hidding where she had her child. The baby boy was named Jaysten.
She floated through the galaxy with her son, avoiding any and all contact with her mother. She worried over what might happen should Murra find out her grandson was alive, and well. During this time, Ureala found herself sucked up into the war with the Hutts. Her son, used against her as she was against her mother, became a bargaining chip. She was discovered to be of Jedi heratige and her son was kid-napped. The randsom: she was to assassinate a Hutt.
While the war ended before Ureala could accomplish this, her son was delivered safely to her. Once more, Ureala took to galavanting around the galaxy with Jaysten, having learned the price for staying in one place too long.
For a time it was a quiet life for herself and Jaysten. She and the lad remained unknown within the galaxy, and are largely so within the current happenings. Between the begining of the story and the current way of things, Ureala and Jaysten shared minor adventures. None too important, though.
Current History:
Ureala and Jaysten had taken residence on a refugee world, living as much of a normal life as they could. With the reappearance of Kenzo Van, a man who Ureala had grown quite attached to, they left that world. The plan was for them to travel the galaxy with Kenzo, forming a true family unit on the way. Their plans were upset when the ATC became involved. Ureala, Jaysten, and Kenzo's current whereabouts are unknown.
Darien and Solomon:
Hair color: Darien: black, Solomon: blonde, nearly white.
Eye Color: Darien: deep gray, Solomon: Light blue
Age: early-mid 20s
Height: Darien 6' Solomon 6'
Occupation: Both are studying to become Jedi
Weapon: as of yet, neither of them have constructed their own lightsabers
History:
The sons of Murra Tekal and Zion Almasay. Both boys were left by Murra to remain with their father. For much the same reasons that Ureala had been left behind, the two were given to study the Force with a man who had only marginal experience with it. Zion knew almost nothing of the Force, or the ways of Jedi, so there was very little that he could teach the twins.
It was through the contact that he kept with Murra that the boys were able to learn of the Force. During their stay with Zion, Darien and Solomon became privy to the knowledge that their father was not well mentally. They watched him succumb to his own illness, ultimately having to destroy his own life for the sake of protecting their's.
They were delivered to Naboo, and to Murra, by the watchful eye of their older half-brother, Seth, Murra's second oldest child (who is not in play, and will not be in play unless I can find something to do with him). They remained close at hand to Murra through everything. Following her to Bastion, after their Uncle Keton had dissapeared.
It was on Bastion that they learned of their mother's fate on Ord Mantel, and it was from Bastion that the two set out. They went on expiditions, searching for anything that could help end the war with Phobos. They found little.
Currently, the boys are seperated. Solomon took off with Sadhric, and Darien remains with Keton. The Tekal clan has rallied, and are currently searching for the whereabouts of Ureala and Jaysten.
Force abilities of the two: Darien and Solomon had little training, so what they do know is not enough to grant them the recognition of their potential. They know some combat skills, as well as the tiniest bits of Force Healing, Agility and Speed. They are, by far, the weakest two of Murra's children in terms of what they know within the Order.
