I am so surprised this is still around. I feel as if I haven’t been here in twelve years or so! So much has happened since then.

Hi Joseph!!!! Yeah, we are still playing. We've moved to google hangouts which is only just marginally better than what Yahoo has turned into. I'm doing alright, can't really complain! How have you been?! Its been sooooooo freaking long!

I tend to prefer Discord over Hangouts. It's all around a better platform, and is actually more conducive to a group like this. But yes, people do float through, and people are still writing.

I've used Discord for voice, and it's been suggested by others for RP before. How are its archives? Since that is the main thing we ask of good platforms, for RP.

So far, I've been using it for two years, and my archives go all the way back to the beginning. It goes beyond that. You could actually run everything SWRP does on Discord, including having character sheets built in. It's a highly versatile platform. It does well for voice chats, and now also supports video and screensharing. Has full bot integration (often for auto-moderation) as well as integration with Twitch and social media platforms. (If the userbase wished to leverage those things).

It runs on just about every platform from PC to apple and android, and I believe Linux and Mac. You don't have to download it if you do not wish to. It runs just as well from a browser as it does with a stand-alone app. And it's pretty lightweight. I pretty much live on discord and hang out in quite a few communities.
