(Summary: Ava and Darien arrive on Hapan to check on Eve. Friendly banter ensues and the decision for a Boy's Night Out is made.)
Niko: Nikolaus had sent his reply that next morning, indicating Eve was ready to see Darien and Ava. Part of the day he had kept busy, working down in his workshop, before he was alerted to their ship landing. Cleaning up a little, he heads to the turbolift, keying his comm to Eve. "Your sister is on planet and I'm on my way up. Are you ready for this?"
Darien: Darien had opted for formality this time around. He knew Niko, sure. But when was the last time this Tekal had walked the halls of a palace that wasn't in The Daimon Empire? He wasn't going to show up looking like he was just scrubbed out from under a ship. Formal attire for him, currently, was Jedi garments. The hunters and kelly greens of a Corellian Jedi may have looked a bit odd on the broad shouldered man, but he moved as if it didn't matter. He stopped at the bottom of the ship's ramp, waiting for Ava.
Eve: “Yes.” She stared at her reflection in the mirror. Eve was sitting in their bathroom at the vanity. Her makeup was light. Her hair straightened and flowed freely down her back. A thing, gem studded halo band across her crown. She wore a dark green dress. The sleeves were long and made of a matching lace. The gown fit her form perfectly and flared out as it reached the ground. It was stunning. She looked stunning. And yet, Eve stared at her reflection wondering again if she was that same girl from before. She wondered what her sister would see when she looked at her. “Tell them I’ll be waiting to meet them. I love you.” Could he hear the nervousness in her voice? She certainly hoped not. Eve rose from her seat and headed out into the Palace hallways, knowing that Vahn would be there to greet her at the door.
Ava: The older Azalee daughter stepped out from the ship. Like Darien, she too was dressed in her formal Jedi Robes. Red and black. Her long hair pulled into a French braid. Her beautiful face was stoic. The Force coursed through her, taking away the nervousness and apprehension she felt at the thought of seeing her sister. Ava was trying. By the Force she was trying so hard to be patient, but she couldn’t stop her brows from furrowing, her face from frowning, when she didn’t immediately see Eve. Brown eyes darted to Darien as she stood next to him.
Niko: "I will. I love you too." Of course he heard the nervousness. He knew he so well already. "It will be okay. I won't leave your side." The turbolift took him to the main Palace froyer, where he would wait for the guest to be brought to him. Of course he would see them before they saw Eve. He was far too protective.
Vahn: Vahn was indeed waiting at the door for the young doctor, a soft smile on his face. "Greetings, doctor. Shall I accompany you to the sitting room?"
Solomon: Sol had stepped out of his accommodations with a destination in mind. He didn't roam hallways and corridors without a goal in mind. Today, at that moment, he was off to see Eve. He had been meaning to check in with her, and the moment seemed right. That was how he had happened on her and Vahn as he rounded a corner on his way to knock on her door. They appeared to be on their way for something, so he cut his approach short, and stayed to the side of the corridor. No need to hinder Eve on her way to wherever she was going.
Darien: Darien was watching Ava as she descended the ramp. They had talked, and she had conceded, promising that she would do her best to retain control. He couldn't help but worry, though. He had been in her shoes more than once, and when it came to his brother, Darien would drop worlds to protect Sol. "You ready?"
Eve: Eve offered a kind smile to Vahn at the door. From behind, little Gibson trotted at her heel. The fluffy creature chirped twice at the enforcer as a greeting before rubbing his side along Eve’s leg. She smiled down at the little guy before looking up to see Solomon. The smile remained and she even offered a friendly wave. “Solomon.” The brunette greeted as her and Vahn would hopefully start their path to meet Darien and Ava. “How are you today?” She’d wait for his answer before continuing. “Ava is here.” Even through her nervousness, she couldn’t hide the excitement in her eyes. “I believe your brother is with her as well. We’re on our way to see them. Would you like to come with us?”
Ava: “Yes.” Was the immediate reply. Ava needed to see her sister. Needed to know that she was alright. And, above all else, she needed to talk to Nikolaus Buffton. But that would wait. Eve first. Then Niko. That was the order and it would not be changed. Ava couldn’t stop her hands from slipping into Darien’s for a moment. She needed to feel that connection, to know that he was with her through this and to silently thank him. The touch wouldn’t last long and soon the pair would be lead to the Palace foyer where Niko Buffton waited. Once more her brows furrowed in displeasure. “Where’s Eve?”
Vahn: Vahn smiles in turn to Eve, and then a soft grin to little Gibson. They had gotten to know each other well; both very protective of the woman walking with them. As she approaches Solomon, Vahn simply provides a low bow of his head in greeting.
Niko: Niko himself wasn't dressed up. He hadn't considered it.. perhaps he would be in trouble for it later. He wore his black mechanic's jumpsuit, oil and grease staining it, though he himself was clean within it; long blonde hair in its ponytail behind him. His expression remains flat as Ava approaches; this was going to be so much fun, he sarcastically thinks to himself. "She's waiting for us upstairs, if you both would follow me." Without waiting for an answer, he turns and heads for the lift nearby.
Solomon: "Good day to you, Eve," Sol dipped his head in a slight bow to both Vahn and the woman beside him. "I'm doing just fine," His smile was warm. She appeared to be in better spirits, and at least a little more comfortable with the world around her. Then came the news. Ava and Darien? "I wouldn't miss it for the galaxy," he told her, moving to fall into step.
Darien: Darien's presence beside Ava would be a constant as they entered the palace. On finding Niko, but no Eve, he lifted a hand and placed it reassuringly on Ava's shoulder hoping to help steady Ava's nerves before they moved on after Niko.
Eve: Her smile warmed. Yes, Eve was in much better spirits. She had been following the Tekal twin’s advice and took things one day at a time. One moment at a time. If things were hard, she let someone know. Eve didn’t try to bottle it up. She let herself feel and that was doing more to help than she ever realized. Although Gibson didn’t bound over to Niko, he did give a little chirp while protectively nuzzling his head against Eve’s shoulders. She smiled and bent down to pick him up. “Ready to go, little guy?” She said to him with a smile.
Ava: Oh, she was trying. The effort it took to keep from screaming at Niko was almost too much. Her sister was waiting for them? What, did he think that they would come barging in with blasters ready to hold the place up like some bank heist? What part of she needed to see Eve did Niko not understand? The hand on her shoulder pulled her back to reality. She needed to stay calm – or at least try. Drawing towards the Force, reminding herself that this was not the proper way for a Jedi to conduct oneself, Ava followed the Buffton Prince silently.
Niko: They reached the lift in silence, but as they stepped into the lift together, Niko would look past Ava to smile to the Tekal. "Good to see you again, Darien." He was intent on not looking at Ava. He wasn't trained in the Force, but he knew enough to be able to read a person.. and the hostility he received over the holo was still evident now. She blamed him; it was clear. At least they had that in common... he still blamed himself.
Darien: "It is! You look well." Darien nodded, surreptitiously reaching for Ava's hand as he spoke. If Niko could read Ava's frustration then Darien could smell it. She had to relax. She had to let it go. Niko was just as much to blame for what happened to Eve, as he was for what happened with Sol.
Solomon: And speaking of Sol! He had given Gibson a small smile. The little ball of fluff was growing on him. Not that he would rush right out and buy one or anything....
Ava: At this point the Buffton could have told her the sky was blue and they were standing in the Palace lifter and she couldn’t believe him. Everything he said was measured with extreme stipulation. Would that change after she saw Eve? Ava didn’t know. What she did know was that Niko’s games of preventing her from seeing her sister was getting pretty damn old. The lift opened and Ava stepped out, brown eyes darting in search of Eve. “Where is she?” She turned to look at Niko.
Eve: The trio would walk together. Eve smiling and lightly stroking Gibson’s right ear. The animal made a noise that was a cross between a purr and a chirp. It was such a funny little sound.
Vahn: Vahn would lead the group down the hall and to a room on the side; a formal sitting area of the Palace, with lush, luxurious furniture gathered around. He checks the device on his wrist, and nods to Eve. "They'll be here in just a minute."
Niko: Niko steps off the lift just after Ava, and keeps himself from rolling his eyes at her. "Did you expect her to be standing here? This isn't your Temple, we're dignified here." Great, Niko. Piss the Jedi off. He couldn't help himself though; her presence put him on edge. He doesn't wait for a reply before walking past and heading down the hallway.
Darien: "Ava," He had spoken to Ava, but had been watching Niko. The tension here was a thick as it would have been with him and Tlin alone in the same room. Eve needed more than seeing Ava and Niko go after eachother. The moment was over, and they were moving on.
Solomon: Inside the sitting room, Solomon paused, waiting for Eve to sit before taking up a position, standing, not too far from her.
Ava: The words were on her tongue, so ready to spring forth and lash out at Niko like she’d been wanting to do since this whole ordeal began. The Prince had Darien to thank for keeping them at bay. Oh, it wasn’t to be mistaken… they would have a nice talk once they were alone. But now was not the time and place. “I’d choose my next set of words very carefully, Buffton.” She growled out.
Eve: Eve took her seat with Gibson happily walking small circles in her lap. He chirped and looked up to Solomon with those bright neon green eyes. Even followed his gaze and smiled at him. “Are you excited to see them?” She asked. What was taking them so long?!
Niko: Niko's chose next set of words… to be silence. Stepping down the hall and to their side, the entrance of the sitting room was there. Niko steps through the doorway first, giving an encouraging smile to Eve before stepping over to sit next to her, his hand giving Gibson a quick pet before looking up to the two entering Jedi.
Vahn: Vahn had taken his place opposite Solomon to provide a second guard for the good doctor. He inclines his head respectively as Niko enters, then tenses slightly to watch the Jedi, the Force pulling within him limiting his presence.
Solomon: Was he excited to see his brother and Ava? Sol smiled, giving Eve a small nod, "I can't wait," he told her calmly. The door was opening moments later with Niko entering first. As Vahn had done, Sol gave a small bow of his head to the Prince. Then, Ava with Darien following last. The brothers caught a moment of eye contact before Darien moved in further to let the door close behind him.
Ava and Eve: Gibson hopped from Eve’s lap into Nikos. Again he walked in circles before settling down in his lap. Time suspended upon the sisters as blue eyes fell on brown ones. Their last words together had not been good ones. They were said in anger and both were left with a bitterness. For a terrifying minute, Ava thought those harsh words would be the last thing they’d ever say to one another. Tears filled blue eyes as Eve hopped from her seat and raced into her sister’s arms. “I’m sorry.” She sobbed, unable to stop her tears from flowing. “I’m so sorry.”
Ava’s eyes closed as she swallowed back her emotions. Tenderly she ran a hand through her baby sister’s hair before kissing the side of her head. “Shhhh.” She whispered as Eve sobbed softly. “It’s okay. You’re safe. It’s okay. You’re safe.”
Niko: Niko watches on silently, gently petting Gibson absentmindedly. A smile crosses his face, glad the sisters could have their moment. Whatever happens between him and Ava later... he was glad she was here; it meant so much to Eve, and thus him too.
The Tekal Brothers: Solomon hadn't moved as Eve rose and rushed for Ava. This moment was needed. Darien understood that, as well, and had given Ava and Eve some space by moving to the left just slightly. He was close enough to be there for Ava if she needed, but he wasn't close enough to be hovering.
The Azalee Sisters: Ava had been given a copy of the injury report on her sister. She knew the extent of her injuries and just how close she’d been to losing her sister. The thought scared the hell out of her, more than she’d ever admit aloud. She held onto her sister for as long as they both needed. Still she whispered soothing words until Eve no longer needed them.
Pulling back, Eve wiped her eyes and laughed a little. “I’m such a baby.” She mumbled.
Ava’s head shook as she wiped her sister’s tears. “Nah.” It took everything she had not to break down with her. But she needed to be strong, needed Eve to see that she was okay. “How are you feeling?” She eyed her carefully.
“I’m okay.” She smiled. “Niko’s been wonderful. He’s done everything he could think of to make sure I’m in the best care.”
The smile and little laugh helped her release some of the tension. “Good.” Still, Ava struggled as that weight on her heart almost made it impossible to breathe. Forcing through it, she hugged Eve one last time. She was okay. Thank the Force, her sister was okay. Pulling back, Ava kissed Eve’s forehead and smiled. Her brown eyes then looked to Darien with a satisfied nod as Eve returned to her seat next to Niko.
Niko: Niko reaches out for Eve's hand as she moves to sit, intent on giving her a squeeze. He doesn't say anything, he doesn't know what to say in this moment. His Eve was okay. She was happy. That meant the Galaxy to him.
The Tekal Brothers: Darien simply smiled as Ava looked toward him. What was there to say in a moment like this? His gaze shifted to Solomon who cleared his throat slightly, "It is good to see you again Ava." He gave the briefest of smiles. The room was crowded, at least it felt that way to him. Perhaps it was Ava's expression which was weighing on him. "Are you alright?"
Ava and Eve: Eve’s hands slipped into Niko’s as if it were the most natural thing in the world. To her, at least, it was. She looked over at him with a happy smile. “How long are you two planning on staying?” She asked, her eyes hopeful that it would be more than just a few hours.
“Solomon,” Ava greeted, directing her emotions into happiness upon seeing her friend. “It’s so good to see you again.” Upon his question, she glanced back to her sister. Eve who had been through so much and still managed to find a way to smile. “Yeah.” She said with a nod. “I’m great.” Her eyes fell to the little fluff ball and blinked. “What’s that?”
“That, is a Gibson.” Eve answered proudly. “He’s my pet.” Upon hearing his name, the little feline creature blinked his green eyes at his ‘mommy’ before lazily closing them again. “And who is that?” She pointed at Darien with a knowing smile.
“Uh. Um. Well that’s…” Ava flushed.
The Tekal Brothers: Solomon grinned, but didn't say anything to Eve's question. Darien stepped forward, giving a slightly regal bow, "Darien Tekal, at your service," He told Eve, "Unfortunately, we will just be staying for a day or two."
Niko: Niko listens to the conversation, remaining silent. His role, he felt, was simply giving Eve the support she needs... though it had gone much better than he had expected. Of course, Ava would still speak with him after. At the mention of staying, he finally speaks up. "I'll have rooms drawn for both of you... or would that just be one room?" It was an innocent question.
Eve: Eve nodded. A few days. Well it was better than a few hours. She’d take it. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Darien Tekal.” This was the first time she ever met the other Tekal twin. He was so different from his brother, of that she could already tell. Her eyes darted from her flustered sister to her charming boyfriend. A teasing smile slipped across those beautiful lips. “I’m sure we can get you a room with a big bed.” She said helpfully.
Ava: Daggers were glared at Niko Buffton. Promises of untold amounts of pain were in those eyes before she restrained herself. “One room will be nice.” She replied, trying her hardest to not become flustered again. Ava glanced over to Darien, wondering if her partner in crime would throw her a saving line or sit back and enjoy watching her squirm.
Niko: Niko grins at Ava, not being able to help himself. She would murder him later; that much was sure. So what's the harm in pushing a little more? Eve had joined in, that had made it even better. "One room then. Excellent." He then gives an obvious grin to Darien, if only to annoy Ava that much more.
Darien: He cleared his throat, but nodded, "Ava and I appreciate your hospitality, Niko." Damage control, thats what he was after. He tried to keep his expression as neutral as he could. If he broke his composure Niko wouldn't be the only man in the room in for a lashing from Ava. If he let himself slip, like he so badly wanted to, there was a cat-o-nine-tails with his name on it.
Eve: “Well make sure the room is well away from any other guest rooms.” Eve continued with that helpful smile of hers. “Just in case.”
Ava: Ava’s eyes widened as the flush reached her cheeks. “Evelyn Azalee!” She couldn’t help herself. It was then that Eve busted out in laughter.
Niko: Niko laughs with her, damning himself all the way. He wouldn't add to it, not this time. Lightsabers hurt.
Darien: Behind the seated couple Sol had to shut his eyes, struggling to keep his grin under control. Darien cleared his throat, a smile cracking through the facade, "Again, we appreciate the consideration. We'll be sure to put the space to good use."
Ava: As the group either laughed or tried not to laugh, Ava rolled her eyes and smiled. Above all else, it was good to hear her sister’s laugh even if it was at her own expense. “You lot are exhausting. I give up.” Eve grinned at her sister as she continued to laugh. “That’s the spirit!” she exclaimed with a clap of her hand.
Niko: One big happy family... or at least, perhaps someday. The thought goes through the Buffton's mind, but he remains silent otherwise, his laugh fading into a very happy grin.. Eve's laugh was music to his ears. He felt happier than he ever could remember.
Solomon: "There are just some battles best left unfought, Ava," Solomon said while Darien grinned at his twin.
Ava: "Har. Har." She rolled her eyes but the smile remained. Ava had just gotten used to the idea of her and Darien being.... well what they were. The thought of her baby sister teasing her about it was well, quite embarrassing.
Eve: Eve continued to grin at her sister. "Aww come on. It's not like we're not all adults here, sis."
Niko: "You make a cute couple, after all." Niko adds in.
Darien: "Don't let the cuteness fool you," Darien said to Niko and Eve, "She's a slave driver. I haven't gotten a moment's rest!" He caught Ava in the corner of his vision, fully expecting a swat.
Ava and Eve: And it was given at full force. "Darien Tekal!" She scolded, her cheeks turning beat red. Eve laughed again, grinning. "That's okay. I'm lucky if Niko can let me sleep for more than twenty minutes." She grinned.
Niko: Niko nods, "It must run in the family." He grins broadly in turn, giving Eve's hand an extra squeeze for emphasis.
Darien and Sol: Behind the couple, Solomon had turned just about as red as Ava had. His smile remained, though, despite himself. Darien caught the swat, flinching away from it slightly, "Ow, hey! See what I mean?"
Ava and Eve: "All three of you shut up." Ava laughed. Her head shook as she grinned at her sister, her boyfriend, and her sister’s boyfriend. She enjoyed the lightness of the moment. It was long overdue. Eve giggled and kissed Niko's cheek quickly. "I don't recall you complaining last night." She teased. "EVE!" Ava shouted. "I so don't need to hear this!"
Niko: "And you never will," Niko responds, with a broad grin, just before Ava's shout. He mock winces and looks from Ava to Darien. "I feel for you, man."
Darien and Sol: "Yeah," he tried to frown, looking a bit toward Ava, "Don't know what I was thinking..." by the end of it, the expression was gone, replaced by a grin. // If Solomon could have gotten any more red in the face, he would have. He didn't add to it, he just coughed softly and averted his eyes, trying not to listen too much.
Ava and Eve: Ava buried her own beat red face in her hands. She couldn’t take it anymore. “I’m going to go stand over next to Solomon and try to have the ADULT conversation.” She quipped. Eve only laughed harder until her side was in stiches and she couldn’t breathe. Gasping, she grinned at both Darien and Niko with happy tears in her eyes. “It must be an Azalee thing.”
Niko: Niko laughed along with Eve, grinning like an idiot all the while. He nods to her, adding "Did I get the non-violent Azalee, or have I just been lucky so far?"
Darien: "You aren't going anywhere," Darien said, turning to plan a hand on Ava's shoulder. "I want you right where I can reach you. You know, just in case. Besides, Sol isn't in the best of conditions for conversation right now. Are you, Sol?" Darien's grin widened a bit as he glanced toward his brother. There weren't many moments where he could pick on his twin these days. Everything was always so serious. He had to take advantage while the getting was good. It was a law, or something. And if it wasn't, it should be.
Eve and Ava: “Oh no, darling.” Eve teased with her own grin. “I just enjoy taking my punishment out on you in different ways.”
“Oh, my gods.” Ava groaned while gagging. “I so didn’t want to hear that. In fact, I’m certain that I NEVER want to hear that.” The Jedi Knight didn’t move away when Darien placed his hand on her shoulder. Instead she moved closer to him. “And as for you,” Another swat was directed at his shoulder, though this one was much gentler than the first. “that’s for making me blush!” Her cheeks were still red. Ava was certain the color reached all the way to her pretty brown roots.
Niko: Niko leans in for a quick kiss to his Eve while Ava was distracted beating Darien yet again. "I love you," he whispers to her.
Darien and Sol: "Ow, what did I do!? Niko! Trade with me, I picked the wrong one!" He had flinched away again, this time taking a full step in the other direction. The wide grin remained, and as the beating subsided he stuck his tongue out at Ava. // Solomon's only reaction, if he had had the wherewithal to speak would have been: "I'm endangering the mission; I shouldn't have come."
Ava and Eve: “I love you too.” She smiled after that quick kiss. Eve relaxed in the chair, her hand contently holding onto his as she watched her sister banter back and forth with her boyfriend.
“You know exactly what you did.” Ava retorted teasingly. When he asked to trade, again she swatted him. “I don’t think so! You’re stuck with me, remember.” There was a playful protest in her voice.
Niko: Niko grins at Eve, before turning towards Darien and laughing, "Not for all the credits in the Galaxy." Another squeeze of Eve's hand. That statement had a double meaning, but he wouldn't point that out. Not on his life.
Darien: "Ow, damn it!" He flinched away again, laughing, "Quit it. Go beat up on Sol, or something! "
Ava: "No!" Ava laughed. "Solomon is being the good one here. Maybe I made a mistake and picked the wrong Tekal..." Her voice trailed off as she grinned at her boyfriend before wiggling her eyes playfully at Solomon.
Niko: Niko laughs at the continued banter but falls silent. Instead, he scoots just a little closer to Eve, finding the small space between them to be too far a distance. Glancing over his shoulder, he gives Sol a sympathetic look. "Run away... run for your life."
Solomon: At what Ava said, Sol's focus had become the room again, and for all the good vibes and deep blushing that was going around Solomon was somewhere in the middle. His face was still bright, bright red, and he met Niko's gaze before finding Ava's, "Uhm, no. That’s alright. You guys have all the fun."
Ava and Eve: “Are you sure?” Ava pounced on the opportunity to tease her friend. All the while her hand slipped into Darien’s. “From what your twin says, I’m pretty fun…” She wiggled her eyebrows once more.
Eve grinned and laughed, her head shaking. “And you say that I’m inappropriate!” she replied. She didn’t shy away from Niko as he moved closer but instead welcomed it. After all, she liked having him close.
Niko: "Poor Solomon," Niko says, giving his friend some pity, before.. "We really need to find him someone. I just have the one sister, and it's a little soon for her.. There's Xaiyla, but.. Force help you Sol." He shakes his head, and looks to Eve. "Who do you have?"
Solomon and Darien: "No, no," he stammered through his response, "Its alright really. I don't need anyone...." Darien's hand tightened arounds Ava's as she slipped her hand into his, "Aw, come on, Sol! I'm sure we can find someone for you. What about a Twi'lek? They're pretty easy."
Ava and Eve: Ava grinned and leaned further into Darien. “I promise we’ll make sure she treats you right, Sol. We’ll find you a good one who’ll love you long time.”
Eve's hands held up defensively as she grinned at Niko. "I got nothing. I'm so not getting into this one." She laughed.
Niko: Niko grins at Eve, before looking up at Solomon's response to the continued egging from the other power couple. He was stepping out of this one.
Darien and Solomon: His color had been leveling out, and then exploded back to bright red once Ava had spoken, "No, I'm sure. If I find the right person, though, you all will be the firsts to know." Which wasn't likely. The amount of contact needed for something like that? The idea nearly broke his brain. Darien's arm came to settle around Ava, holding her loosely as she leaned against him. He frowned at his brother, "Alright," he sighed, "Suit yourself. You've no idea what you're missing!"
Niko: "I'm sure he has some idea what he's missing...” Niko interjects quickly.
Ava and Eve: “We better be!” Ava grinned. “I’ll have to meet the woman who stole the infamous Solomon Tekal’s heart. She has to gain my seal of approval after all.” She winked at her friend. Her hand tenderly fell across Darien’s arm as he held her. Instantly she relaxed in his arms.
Eve grinned and shook her head. Upon Niko’s mutter, she lightly swatted his arm. “That’s not nice!” She laughed. “Be nice to poor Solomon. All of you.”
Solomon: "Infamous?" He frowned as his mind latched onto that rather than allowing his focus remaining on ...other things. "Since when am I infamous?" They didn't need to know that he had never, even with having been a married man.
Niko: Niko takes the swat with a flinch, mimicking Darien from earlier, and taking the spotlight from Sol. "Ack! There's the violent streak!"
Ava and Eve: "Shut up." The sisters said at the same time to Niko. A look was exchanged between the two before they broke out into a smile. Eve grinned at Niko while Ava smiled at Solomon. "I think you're selling yourself short, my friend."
Darien and Sol: Darien grinned toward Niko and Eve, "She's just as bad as you are! And in light of that, Sol, you get a running start for whoever they set you up with. I promise." Gods be damned. There was just no escaping the conversation! "Its alright," he said again, "I don't mind selling myself short. Not on this anyway. I wouldn't even know what to do!" He wound up blurting out.
Niko: Niko laughs at the sisters, then listens to the brothers.. Before blinking at Solomon's final statement. He remains silent at that, glancing back to Eve.
Ava and Eve: Though a flush crept up to her cheeks, Ava grinned at her friend. “Trust me once you reach a certain point, instincts begin to take over. All you gotta do is find the right girl.” She grinned.
Biting down on her bottom lip, Eve gave her best ‘oh so innocent’ look to Niko. “What?” She smiled.
Darien and Sol: Darien leaned down as Ava spoke, lightly kissing her cheek, "And after that, its all about practicing." Solomon groaned quietly, "Why do I get the feeling that you are all going to be conspiring against me now?" He frowned, and contemplated moving into Niko's workshop.and locking the door.
Niko: Niko gives Eve a quick kiss before looking back up to Solomon. "It's not conspiring against you if its for your own good. Consider it an intervention."
Ava and Darien: Ava smiled at Darien and pressed her back closer to his chest. Her cheeks burned at his comment. “Yeah. It’s not conspiring, Solomon. We do this because we love you. One day, you’ll look back on it all and thank us.”
The kiss was returned. Eve felt her cheeks hurt from smiling so much. It was the most she’d done in weeks. Her blue eyes darted from each person standing around her and felt her heart swell. Solomon’s words were taken to heart and she truly felt as if she were finally starting to heal.
Solomon: His head dropped forward, and he shook it while muttering "I hate you all." Of course he didn't mean that. At least not fully.
Niko: "What's that Sol? You like them tall?"
Ava and Eve: Both sisters forced back their snicker, watching Solomon carefully.
Solomon: "I did not!" His protest died as it dawned on him what Niko had done. Anything further he would say was going to be turned around. He was squirming badly, and the fact that Darien was getting so much enjoyment out of watching him suffer made it worse.
Niko: "Short then. Gotcha. It's okay to have a type, Sol. Nothing to be embarrassed about." Niko was having way too much fun. If only his own family gatherings were this much fun.
Eve: “So what hair color do you prefer, Sol?” Again that helpful smile returned to her face. “Do you like them busty?”
Solomon and Darien: He hid his face behind his right hand, silently muttering profanities as his blush increased in color. "Sol likes the red heads," Darien spoke up, "The bubbly type. A nice rack wouldn't be too bad either."
Eve: “Short…redhead….busty…bubbly….” Eve tacked off the traits as if she were making a shopping list. Maybe she was! “I’m sure I know a few girls who can do that. Now do you want an experienced girl or someone cute and innocent?” She batted those pretty blue eyes innocently at him.
Niko: "I know just the one. One of Kara's handmaidens. Hapan too, so you know she's a.." His words die as he looks to Eve. ".. a Hapan." He weakly adds.
Solomon: "Vahn," Sol looked toward the Enforcer with a frown, "If you're armed, just put me out of my misery...."
Eve and Ava: Eve glared at Niko for just a second. She'd had enough experience with Hapan women. "So long as they're hitting on Sol and not you, we're good." She patted his shoulder a little harder than normal. Ava raised a brow at her sister. "Oh? Are we the jealous type, Ms. Eve?" She grinned.
Niko and Vahn: "I only have eyes for you!" Niko answers quickly, not really answering her. He can't help who hits on him, after all. Bufftons gonna be Bufftons. Vahn, who had been wearing a grin the entire time, simply shakes his head. "I'm sorry, Solomon. That would be too merciful."
Darien and Solomon: The women on Hapes were loose? Darien made note of that. He also made note that due to this fact he should not go venturing out without Ava. Sol frowned at Vahn, "Not you, too, Vahn! Say it isn't so!"
Eve and Ava: "Damn right you do." She mumbled with a little smile. Quickly Eve leaned forward and kissed his cheek. Ava on the other hand, quirked a brow at her boyfriend. She too was making the note not to let him roam around the Palace without her. Her brown eyes looked to Solomon with a sympathetic smile. "You can't die on us Solomon," she tease. "We liiiike you."
