The following will be a list of key NPCs in the Jedi Order that are up for adoption/replacement. Character adoption is volunteering to play a pre-made character as if it were your own. These characters are for use in the game and contain information that anyone that knows them, or of them, would be able to learn. If you’re interested in taking over one of the posted characters, or having one of your own NPCs posted, please contact a GM. Check back regularly as characters are added all the time.
Conservative = Believe a Jedi’s role is as Peace Keeper/Protector of the People/Justice & Freedom in the form of using their powers for martial prowess to uphold the law, and combat threats to the people of the galaxy… by this end they feel the Jedi serve the freely chosen government of the people (The Galactic Senate in the days of the Republic). They tend to think the Force is definitively split with a Darkside and Lightside.
Liberal = Believe a Jedi’s Role is as Philosopher, Scholars & Teachers that should try to follow the will of the force wherever it may lead; Doing right/good is using the Force only when necessary & avoiding violent confrontation when possible. They tend to think that the force doesn’t have side, but people do, and it is people that are either light or dark.
Not all characters are strictly one or the other. In fact most characters have very complex beliefs that may be somewhat contradictory or hypocritical! Some might believe in a little from the conservative side and a little from the liberal side. For the purposes of knowing where a Jedi NPC might lean towards in decisions, and what they believe in for RP, we rank them on a scale from 1(Conservative) to 10(Liberal); This is of course something an adopting player can change as they wish.
Jedi Council Members
Name: Krinn Vost
Gender: Female
Race: Dathomiri
Age: 45
Skills/Proficiencies: Malacia - The power to make someone dizzy/nauseous with the force. Krinn is has excellent interpersonal skills, with an easy sense of empathy with others. Krinn tends to avoid combat but is skilled with a double-bladed lightsaber. She also enjoys artistic ventures such as drawing, or singing. Additionally rumors circulate that she survived stranded on a wild-planet for three weeks with nothing save her survivalist abilities.
Key Possessions: Her double bladed lightsaber, and her pet Tooka Everam
Scale: 7
History: Krinn Vost considers herself the one left behind. Born on Dathomir her mother had been a trained Jedi who hid on the planet hoping to escape the destruction that followed Kyp Durran’s death. It was ultimately Krinn’s mother who trained her, after Cliona Maelstrom left the planet in search of her own adventurers. Krinn envied it, but stayed behind learning from her mother right up until her mother’s death. Skywalker’s call and Cliona’s return brought her to the Jedi, a knight eager and ready to follow the will of the force. Eager and willing to help the galaxy at large. Throughout the war, and the changes in the rift Krinn was there. Spending her time trying to put out as many fires as she could. Take care of as many Jedi as she could. Only stepping into a leadership role when the Rift Jedi came through with nothing but their notions of what the Jedi of her time had done wrong. Krinn was more than willing to show them what that Order had done right, and more importantly make sure a voice from the current time was able to be heard.

PB: Mariska Hargitay
Name: Vishara Northstar
Gender: Female
Race: Miralan
Age: 38
Skills/Proficiencies: Psychometry - the ability to sense impressions left in objects and items, Weapons expertise, Marksmanship, the study of galactic history and galactic law. Grav-Ball, detective work.
Key Possessions: Her lightsaber, her former partners old CorSec badge
Scale: 1
History: In another life, Vishara had been a CorSec security officer. Daring and bold, naturally inclined to finding just the right clues to lead her to arrests, she had the hallmarks of a splendid career in front of her. One that she eagerly embraced, until the untimely death of her partner at the hands of a serial-killing force wielding criminal. The clues led her to all the wrong places, eventually leading her to a cult of force users that almost ended her life. It was only Corran Horn, a Jedi Knight who was trained in Luke Skywalkers Praxeum, that managed to stay her execution. These were days of the Jedi’s rebirth, and seeing her passion for justice, Corran brought her to Skywalker’s academy for training. Vishara took to this training with dogmatic patience, wanting to learn to have the strength and skills to save others like her long fallen partner. Under Skywalkers guidance she became a Jedi Knight and then passed onto the greater galaxy assisting the New Republic in fighting off the Imperial Remnant. It was on one such mission that she slipped through the rift, and into this Galaxy, where the Jedi Order was far more fractured and the galaxy was far more in need of protectors.

PB: Zoe Saldana
Name: Seddar Jenos.
Race: Human
Age: 46
Skills/Proficiencies: Sever Force - The ability to sever one’s connection to the force, for Seddar this ability leads to extreme levels of exhaustion, and requires contact to be successful. This ability can be made easier if channeled with other force users. Seddar is a skilled mechanic, though he is not an expert pilot. He tends to get sick in snub-fighters so he won’t travel in anything but larger slow moving ships. Seddar has been known to build his own droids, and is an excellent lightsaber duelist.
Key Possessions: A custom built mini-astromech droid B6-T8, a curved hilt lightsaber
Scale: 3
History: Seddar has known nothing but the Jedi Order. He was taken as a child from his parents and raised to be a Jedi Knight. There he thrived, enjoying all the opportunities they offered him. From seeing the galaxy, to helping others. He was brought to his trials right after the Battle of Genosis. The Clone Wars were a turbulent time, and Seddar took on an apprentice as others had with the hope of being able to give the galaxy in need of Jedi more Jedi. A year before the Clone Wars were to end, Seddar’s apprentice fell to the dark side. It was the first time Seddar used Sever Force, taking it from his apprentice before he found himself leaving the Jedi Order. He lived in the back-worlds of the newly risen Empire. Hiding who he was, and constantly on the edge, for years he dealt with the knowledge that mystic as some worlds thought of him, he was an outcast Jedi. Several close encounters over the years took place, but Seddar Jenos managed to survive. It was the Battle of Yavin that reminded him of his duty to the galaxy, and talk of a Skywalker that drew him to the galaxy at large where the open Rift trapped him on the other side. Here was the last pieces of a Jedi Order that desperately needed help - help that Seddar thought himself able to give.

PB: Idris Elba
Name: Iriki Tooanit
Race: Zabrak
Age:58
Skills/Proficiencies: Tràkata - the art of using a lightsaber by only powering it when making a strike or blocking one. Iraki is a skilled diplomat. Iraki has been known to be an excellent merchant, and manager of resources.
Key Possessions: Two short lightsabers with quick fire igntions. A hold-out blaster, engraved with two letters RT
Scale:10
History: During the waning days of the New Republic, without Luke Skywalker and his charmed family to keep the galaxy out of peril, the Hutts had taken hold of everything. A second Hutt Empire had in effect been born. Kyp Durron’s death had cemented this, and the result of the scattered Jedi had found a young Iriki Tooanit enslaved by the Hutts. The Hutts intended to use him for a body-guard, and when that failed they turned him into a pit-fighter. Here Iriki met Rori Gaarin a fellow slave of the Hutts. Their bond transcended their capitivity. Rori kept Iriki from falling to the Darkside by giving him guidance. Iriki kept in touch with his roots through Rori’s guidance and endured slavery for many years, before the Merchant Defense Force freed him after a conflict on Tattooine. Suddenly freed and once more surrounded by ‘Jedi Knights’ Iriki did what no one expected, he ran off with Rori and traversed the space-lanes, offering what help they could until the Praetorian War erupted and Skywalker called for Iriki to join the Jedi on Dathomir. It was there Iriki found himself duracreted with the Jedi Order as the force had demanded.

Name: Jacob Antilles
Race: human
Age: 75
Skills/Proficiencies: Force weapon - The ability to channel the force into items to create a weapon strong enough to withstand a lightsabers attack. Jacob is a skilled combatant, and has great proficiency with the force.
Key Possessions: A thick wooden walking stick. A plant which he carries with him when he travels.
Scale:5
History: Eons ago, in the time of the Old Republic, in the golden glory days when the Sith were believed to be extent, and the Jedi Order’s reach was long and wide, Jacob Antilles was taken from his family, raised by the Order. His very nature called him to question, to laugh and enjoy life. It was a peaceful life in service to the Order’s ideals, rather than needing to be a warrior for the Order. Jacob took many apprentices before, and was widely respected as a teacher, which was why he reached out to take a Padawan who most Masters though too troubled to remain a Jedi. Jacob failed this Padawan Marcellus. Marcellus fell to the darkside, and Jacob took the task of trying to redeem him on himself, only to fail and have to slay the young man. The weight of this was heavy for Jacob, who was allowed to take a sabbatical to gather himself. The sabbatical lasted fifteen years of near isolation. His only companion a Neti who acted as something of a guardian for the Elder Antilles. When the Rift open, Jacob felt a stirring in the force and followed it to this galaxy, taking only a vessel provided by the Jedi. A Walking stick and a plant - gifts from his Neti friend. When the council formed in this Galaxy, Jacob Antilles didn’t think it was his place to sit on a council and initially refused, only to accept when the Dark Cabalist were defeated.
