I am posting this here, but will also be posting this under the what you need to know forum once I can make it to my computer.
Its been two years since the events of Altar. The Taint has all but disappeared from the galaxy. The Rifts have been closed. The galaxy, at large has been a catch-all for beings from other times, other spaces. This has led to an influx of Force Sensitives from across the rifts, as well as denizens who have been stranded away from their native times.
The Jedi Order was just budding two years ago, and under the misdirection of the forming council actions had been taken to ensure compliance from renegade Jedi. Those efforts have long since ceased. The Jedi have abandoned their make shift home in one of the smaller temples of Tython, due to the all too dangerous nature of the planet, and have returned to Ossus.
There, a new council was formed consisting of eight masters. The ninth seat has yet to be filled. These eight masters have come together through various means to try and work past the differences given between times and places. They have come to find that not every order is the same.
In the midst of pulling themselves together something had occurred. The Force has begun affecting certain Jedi in certain ways. Visions, headaches, and physical ailments are showing themselves as side effects. Not every Jedi has suffered. Not every Jedi will suffer. And those that do, do so to varying degrees.
During an investigation into the cause of the apparent illness a group of Jedi had been sent to Tython, accompanied by an aggitated Sadhric Tlin whose own apprentice had been suffering the effects of whatever has been going on within The Force, a tripple homicide was commited on Ossus. The suspect: Solomon Tekal.
Fleeing The Order, he and his witnesses have gone into exile. Sadhric, and the team of Jedi that had been with him, found very little to go on from Tython. Not much but a sense of 'What the hell was that?'
Currently, the team from Tython has made a pitstop to Coruscant to regroup and set themselves up for a return to Ossus.
The temple on Ossus has become thrown into turmoil. As the investigation ensues it is becoming more and more apparent that there is corruption within the council.
