-And a Brief History:
While known as a peaceful and friendly race, lying and cheating came pretty easy to the Bilav Family. Smiling and shaking hands during deals (while crossing their long fingers behind their backs) laid the foundation to a beautiful underground smuggling ring across the stars. Grandfathered in at a young age, Yal found his place among the repairmen first. He was tiny enough to fit into special compartments to make crucial repairs when they needed it most during jobs.
At age 17, when he couldn't fit in those compartments anymore, his usefulness was compromised when the family flagship was boarded by mercenaries working for Zuran the Hutt, who recently put a price out for Yal's father's head after a botched job or three. He never saw his father after that day.
Vowing to bring down Zuran the Hutt, Yal now roams for the next job with the most money to lay the groundwork for the destruction of Zuran's criminal empire.
(Notes: As seen in the film, E.T.: The Extraterrestrial, it appears Grebleips need some form of symbiotic relationship to survive. I will be researching this further and aim to make this one of his most interesting flaws.)
