....Ok, so if Matt is going then I really WILL need someone to keep my husband occupied while I pitch our tent. I DO NOT want to suffer through a weekend of our tent falling down on us -- again. The campsite I am looking at for our group: www.virginia.org/site/description.asp?AttrID=29489

If we have enough warning in advance, I can get my mom to ask for the time off and we can bring the kids camping... Jeremiah loves to camp. Granted, I wouldn't be spending much time with them... >.>; And they're close to the same age as Bobbi's kids. ^_^

Eh, kids? I think having kids around would put way too much of a restriction on what we can do and say. Sorry, but I vote no kids!

Sorry, but seeing as I'm their primary caretaker, if you want me there, you might not have a choice.

Seeing as how you didn't give birth to the things you're not the caregiver.

Beg to differ. When I watch them from 9am to 10pm, that'd make me their primary caregiver. I'm just not their legal caregiver.

Well thats because you don't tell their "mother" to do it.

Yeah... Snarky much? We're going to have to straighten this out. Lucky we have plenty of time.

Mike and I are probably not going to be bringing the girls. We are, more than likely, going to treat this as a weekend away from them and find them a sitter as we have the ability to do so. I understand that Melissa doesn't have that option because SHE is the babysitter for those two boys. Sometimes, when dealing with the possability that you must involve the kids, you have two choices: either you go and take them with you, making accomidations and sacrifices that will allow them to go with (be it spending more money on a kid friendly place to sleep, or altering your plans just slightly, or whatever it may be) or you could just not go and call the whole thing off. I, personally, believe that if you can include the kids then do so.
If Melissa is in a position where the kids are going to have to come, then they are going to have to come. I'd rather have her there, than not, even if it is just to hang out with her during the day.

I agree. I would rather have Lissa there with the kids than for her not to be there at all.
Oh! Bobbi, I can help you pitch the tent and what not. We'll just leave Mike and Mike to go hunt stuff.... like sticks.... or... rocks. ^_^

I hereby decree that all males will be called Dave. For duration of trip. Or perhaps, Dave Jr.
